Founder reservation · First production run
Reserve yours for $1.
$1.00 Fully refundable · credited toward your pendant
$1 reserves your spot in the first production run of the Ciao Lou translator pendant.
- Credited toward your pendant. Your $1 is credited toward the final price when orders open.
- Fully refundable, anytime. Just email us and we'll refund your $1, no questions asked.
- This is a reservation, not a purchase of the pendant. Nothing ships now, and we haven't set a shipping date yet.
- How it's meant to work. Set up your languages once in the Ciao Lou app, then hold the center, speak and let go: it translates out loud, offline, with no phone needed — even if your phone dies, gets stolen, you lose signal, or you run out of data abroad. That's the design goal; we'll confirm it on a tested prototype.
- First access and first-run priority. Reservers hear first when orders open and get first claim on the first production run.
Ciao Lou is a concept still in development. The images on this site are concept renderings, not photos of a finished product, and the final design and specs may change before production. The final price will be confirmed before you're asked to pay anything more, and you can get your $1 back at any point.

Good to know
About your reservation.
What does my $1 get me?
A spot in the first production run of the Ciao Lou translator pendant, plus first access when orders open. Your $1 is credited toward the final price.
Can I get my $1 back?
Yes, anytime. Just email us (the address is on your reservation receipt) and we'll refund your $1 in full. No questions asked.
Am I buying the pendant?
No. A reservation isn't a purchase of the pendant and nothing ships now. There's no ship date yet. When orders open, you'll see the final price and decide whether to order.
Does it need my phone or wifi?
No. Your phone is only for the one-time setup and for adding languages in the Ciao Lou app. After that, Lou is designed to translate on the pendant itself, offline, with no phone or wifi. It's a concept still in development, so how it works and its specs may change after prototyping.
Is the design final?
Not yet. Ciao Lou is a concept still in development, the images are concept renderings, and the design and specs may change before production.
